EVEREST THE EXPLORE'S ROUTE Through the Arun Valley
GRADE: A
DURATION: 25 DAYS
Max. altitude: 5546m

Not all Everest treks are like this 25 days trek which approaches Everest via the remote and uncrowned Arun Valley. It offers a chance to experience the "untouched Nepal".

The trek begins in eastern Nepal, following small paths through the green subtropical forests of the Valley which drape the slope of Makalu (8463m). We cross three passes -including the 3475m, Salpa Bhanjyang and Najing Danda before reaching the Khumbu region. When we finally arrive at the Dudh Khosi Valley, south of Mt. Everest, the rest of the trek is spent hiking the normal routes in to the Khumbu and up to Kala Pathar for superb views of Everest.
