
ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT A Classic Annapurna trek GRADE: A DURATION: 21 DAYS Max. altitude: 5380m. Starting from 610m Marsyangdi river valley we head northwards, trekking beneath soaring peaks of Manaslu, Himalchuli and Lamjung Himal. The high altitude valley of Manang is the home of great traders - the Mananges, as well as superb mountain views. The trail follows the Thorong pass (5400m) and descends to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath, set amidst a striking altitude valley.The Kali Gandaki Valley takes us through fascinating trading villages like Marpha, Tukuche and Tatopani by turning south towards Ghorepani along the same route as the Panorama trek ending at Pokhara. |
