BHUTAN:
"The unexplored Kingdom"

The Kingdom of Bhutan "DRUK YUL (Land of Dragon) hidden in the eastern Himalayas between India and Tibet is as big as Switzerland but sparsely populated (pop. barely 1 million).

The mountains magnificent, the forests dense, the people delightful, the air pure and crystalline, the architecture imposing, religion exciting, and the art is superb. There are no beggars and no thieves, virtually no violent crimes, and a traveler's personal safety is guaranteed. Public relations hype you may be thinking; brochures always inflate their subject, but the surprising fact is that it's all true. For the occasional visitor, Bhutan is truly Shangrila, a country, a mythical country hidden deep in the mountains.

Treks in Bhutan organized threw by Bhutan Tourism Corporation with whom we have a special relationship. There is twice a week Druk Air service from Kathmandu to Bhutan.
